Carol Sill’s ongoing explorative writing project
A complex narrative that blends mystical experiences with philosophical reflections and ceremonial practices

Project Wunderkabinett
A written reflection on the nature of time and magical objects. The protagonist recognizes “old signs” that indicate a need to step back and view things from a broader perspective. She describes time as having three interconnected lines: the present, future, and past, which all travel together simultaneously.
The text introduces the concept of WonderCabinets, which contain objects that serve as keys to opening new expressions that can affect the future and redraw the past. It’s noted that many magicians who created or charged these powerful objects were unaware of the time flow they were manipulating.
Introduction and Ritual Practices
Discussion on the sacred rituals involving soil and its annual renewal.
Description of various cabinets and their significance as homes for magicians’ souls.

Philosophical and Reflective Insights

Reflections on the nature of magic, wisdom, and the journey of the soul.
Ceremonial Instructions

Specific instructions for conducting sacred ceremonies with magical objects.
Concluding Thoughts
A philosophical conclusion on the nature of existence, the pursuit of wisdom, and the transformative power of rituals
From Matter to Spirit and Back Again
The work of shamans and magicians is described as the transformation and transposition of matter to spirit. Serving the divine source without taking energy for oneself, Unlocking the spirit in matter, Releasing it as uncreated light energy.
Magical Homes
Introducing the concept of cabinets as miniature homes for magicians’ souls. These cabinets, in various forms (chests, elaborate secretaries, castles, temple models), are described as long-lasting homes for magicians, with each object inside holding a part of the magician’s breath or soul fragment.

The Goal
Our protagonist’s goal is revealed: to create their own cabinet before death, which is likened to “dying before death” and creating a lasting legacy, similar to a space station.
“This is all an imaginary journey.”
