Begin Again

The account begins easily enough – they always do. Never even an inkling of rough waters ahead and the challenges. Not that I want to invoke them at all. For truly this tale is of wisdom stuff, not adventure.

Meaning arrives to us all whether our lives are quiet and remain in the village or if the outpouring requires full involvement even to the point of setting out on what some call adventure – but others would call it gathering wisdom.

Climbing the mountain satisfies both the body and the curious mind. We want to see what is beyond that mountain – on its other side is it the same as what we see here? Or is it actually another world? We find a way to know this by climbing arduously to the summit. The act of the climb, oh and for the final result – well we all know this. It is an old tale.

Nothing is different on the other side of the mountain – just another village much like our own. But the climber – Oh, the climber, that one who took the risk – returns changed. He may even have seen a glimpse of that world when looking down to the other mountain side. For it is there – just not in the visible world.

And so for that reason I write. To explicate the workings of that world within and around our own, and to call it to us now. If I work it as I write, they will shift the templates. They? Who are they? Those who are our counterparts under the mirror sun on the other earth. Closer than we dare imagine.

People think that we are best able to connect away from time in nature. This is true – particularly because nature relaxes us and puts us into a more receptive state. With fewer distractions it is easier to be contacted. But the same can happen in the cities to. The parallel city, with its complexity, matches ours. Like nature, it also is timeless, moving in season cycles not in clock and calendar. Just as any place in nature also holds its past history, sometimes discernable to us, so with the cities, especially our parallel cities.

There are two of everything and we can match up with our counterparts in thought and meditation, and in active life too. Soon they can be running in sync. That’s when we begin to perceive synchronicities with manifest thought – I think of a pear, someone brings me a pear, and so forth. This intra-relationship can run very deep and create an entire world based only on my thoughts and feelings.

For the other world to entirely sync up, we need an open awareness of its existence and how it functions. This is the work of metaphysics. When this world and that world are harmoniously in sync, then we are ready for the second transformation. Here the two worlds in perfect harmony become aware of a third and a fourth and so on infinitely. All these are gradually introduced into the full harmony. So one and two bring in three then 456 in greater aggregates with mathematical exponential expansion. During all this, the first world, our world, remains always in touch, through the person or group who takes on the fantastic climb to the summit.

Looking through a window soon becomes living in the scene outside, including sights, sounds, textures, and feelings that weren’t known when looking through the window only. Then while in that new outdoor space, night falls and under the brilliant stars we are led into a glittering unknown forest – where we live for centuries in an instant, and meet others who are both like us and not like us. Our engagement is total, our involvement rich and whole.

They tell us all the stories of our lives and our world, for they are always watching and aware of us. They show us the glass like mirror- object they used to view our world, and in it you see yourself standing at the window looking outward to the meadow, with birds flying to and from the dark edge of the forest.

A mountain in the forest. A flowing stream. A clearing in the woods circled by the tallest of trees. A long table in the middle – where feasts and toasts and all manner of parties find their place.
